Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire operations of a housing community under the supervision of the Regional Manager
 - Manage all phases of operations, including personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration & risk management
 - Supervise on-site staff to ensure compliance with Asset Living policies, safety, fair housing guidelines, and liability considerations
 - Develop and implement strategic leasing plans, marketing initiatives, and resident retention programs
 - Show, lease, and move in prospective residents; address resident complaints and requests to ensure satisfaction
 - Plan for and utilize property resources, equipment, and supplies; obtain bids from vendors and contractors; monitor service quality
 - Maintain property appearance and ensure timely repairs and inspections
 - Prepare and manage staffing schedules; monitor training, coaching, and development of on-site personnel
 - Monitor financial activities including rent collections, deposits reconciliation, and vendor invoices
 - Ensure accurate administrative and leasing reporting and timely closeout of property financials
 
Education/experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four years’ experience in housing, or equivalent combination of education and experience
 - Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred
 - Ability to perform on-site software functions; basic computer skills required
 - Basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements
 
Physical Requirements
- Regularly communicate with others; may work overtime, weekends, and night hours (emergencies)
 - Remain in a stationary position or move about to accomplish tasks; may be required to climb ladders or stairs and work in various environments
 - Lift and move objects up to 25 lbs.; operate machinery or vehicles as needed; work in extreme temperatures and outdoor conditions
 
License/equipment
- Must have reliable transportation due to on-call requirements
 
Salary
Salary Range: $60,000 per year to $70,000 per year
