What You\'ll Own

• Develop and maintain a commercially sound assortment plan across women’s fashion categories, focusing on tops, bottoms, and denim, managing upwards of 850 SKUs per month
• Partner directly with vendors to support a strategic, trend-driven assortment with a focus on quality, pricing, and delivery
• Utilize data-driven insights to monitor and adjust in-season performance, including markdowns, reorders, and array modifications
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, driving effective negotiations on product quality, costs, and delivery timelines
• Lead and mentor junior buying team members, managing workflows, deadlines, and communication to meet category goals
• Collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, marketing, and leadership teams to deliver on sales, inventory, and margin objectives
• Thrive within a culture of “speed,” making rapid decisions and pivoting quickly in a high-growth, test-and-learn environment
• Manage multiple categories simultaneously across three quarters, ensuring alignment with trend-focused customer expectations
• Travel as needed

Who You Are

• A proven self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset. Comfortable with risk, hungry for big wins, and always chasing what’s possible.
• Minimum of 1 year of women’s buying experience in a trend-driven retail environment
• Famous for strong, positive communication – leading, influencing, negotiating, and rallying your team (and partners) comes naturally.
• Expert at multitasking and prioritizing across SKUs and categories; pressure motivates you, not the opposite.
• Up-to-the-minute on fashion trends; proactive in finding tomorrow’s bestsellers.
• Analytical acumen with tools like NetSuite and Shopify, translating numbers into bottom-line results.
• Heightened sense of urgency and natural collaborator in a “move fast, grow fast” team environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred. 4+ years in retail or e-commerce merchandising/buying is a huge plus.
