What you’ll do (Responsibilities)

• Tutor online Music Theory lessons through Varsity Tutors’ Live Learning Platform.
• Match with students best suited to your teaching style and expertise.
• Provide personalized instruction, adapt to different learning styles, and explain concepts clearly.
• Leverage platform tools to enhance sessions and save prep time.

What we look for (Qualifications)

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in Music Theory and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Priority given to those with tutoring experience, teaching experience, and graduate-level education.

Compensation and Schedule

• Base contract rates start at $18/hour and can increase for specialized subjects, with potential to earn up to $40/hour for ongoing sessions with the same student.
• Get paid up to twice per week.
• Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like.
• Tutor remotely using our Live Learning Platform—no commuting required.
