Role Overview
The UX Designer will be responsible for crafting intuitive and user centric digital experiences across insurance platforms. This role requires strong proficiency in user experience design principles, hands-on expertise with design tools, and a deep understanding of insurance workflows and customer journeys. The designer will contribute to the development of responsive interfaces that support policy servicing, claims management, and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Design wireframes, prototypes, and user flows for insurance applications including portals, mobile apps, and servicing platforms
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and heuristic evaluations to inform design decisions
- Translate insurance business requirements into functional design components and user interfaces
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and testers to ensure design feasibility and consistency
- Apply accessibility standards and responsive design principles across devices and platforms
- Maintain design systems and reusable components aligned with insurance branding and compliance guidelines
- Analyze user behavior and feedback to optimize workflows and improve digital touchpoints
- Support iterative design processes within agile delivery models
Required Skills
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or Axure
- Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and information architecture
- Experience designing for insurance platforms including policy issuance, claims processing, and customer onboarding
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and frontend development constraints
- Ability to apply accessibility standards and regulatory guidelines relevant to insurance
- Exposure to analytics tools and user behavior tracking methods
- Experience in creating responsive and adaptive design solutions
- Knowledge of design systems and component-based UI frameworks
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in designing digital experiences for life, health, or general insurance products
- Experience with personalization, self-service features, and customer journey mapping
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and design sprints
- Certification in UX design or human-centered design practices

Pay Transparency
Capgemini discloses salary range information in compliance with state and local pay transparency obligations. The disclosed range represents the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting, although we may ultimately pay more or less than the disclosed range, and the range may be modified in the future. The disclosed range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, geographic location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $125,000 - $138,000 per year.
This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full-time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
Note: No amount of pay is wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable. The amount and availability of any bonus, commission, or any other form of compensation that are allocable to a particular employee remains in the Company’s sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Company’s sole discretion, consistent with the law.
