Annual Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 Position Overview
The Full-Time Program Manager of Third Street Partners will work directly with the Director of Third Street Partners and collaborate with other staff as needed. They will serve as a vital member of the Third Street Partners administrative team, working to support faculty, and ensure timely communication and coordination among Third Street's Partner Schools and Faculty. Duties will include supervising 10+ teaching artists, site visits, instrument delivery, and liaising with school staff, as well as on-site administration.Responsibilities & Duties

In 1894, Third Street was founded by Emilie Wagner, an arts education pioneer who made music education the cornerstone of a settlement house that welcomed immigrants to NYC and provided families with housing support, food, and medical care alongside arts enrichment. Today, Third Street is committed to leveraging arts education to empower youth to reach their fullest potential and unite the diverse communities of NYC. Third Street serves 5,000+ students annually, enriching their lives and communities.
Third Street's core programs include: 1) music and dance instruction for people of all ages, offered seven days a week; 2) public school, public housing, and community partnerships (Third Street Partners) providing instruction in 30+ underserved schools and community centers; 3) a music-infused preschool for students 6 months to five years; and 4) a performance program with over 250 live and virtual concerts annually for more than 10,000 audience members at Third Street and celebrated venues across NYC.

- Overseeing the partnerships, faculty and programming in specific partner sites
- Working with site leaders to advocate and monitor working conditions and quality instruction
- Traveling to partner sites across all five boroughs for regular visits, performances, and delivery of instructional supplies
- Assisting Director with hiring, retention, and supervision of faculty
- Determining teaching and concert schedules for faculty with assigned sites
- Observing classes, and maintaining documentation on partnership activity
- Helping plan, schedule and prepare for professional development of faculty
- Ensuring that instruments, music and supplies are available for partner sites
- Coordinating school performances and family engagement events
- Establishing and implementing process for encouraging and increasing Partner student participation in Music and Dance School activities
- Maintaining and disseminating program statistics
- Attending regular meetings as requested by the Director
- Performing any other department or organization-related duties or special projects as directed by supervisor
- Bachelor's degree in music education or arts administration
- 2+ years' experience teaching in large group settings, public schools, or community music schools
