Overview

Radford University Athletics is seeking a dynamic and creative leader to serve as the Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing & Fan Experience. Reporting to the Deputy Athletics Director, this position is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing, branding, and promotional strategies for all sports, with a strong emphasis on men’s and women’s basketball. The Assistant AD will enhance the fan experience at Radford Athletic events, elevate the department’s brand visibility, and drive attendance, engagement, and revenue.

Responsibilities

• Oversee game presentation, video board operations, in-game promotions, and the supervision of the Spirit Squad and Pep Band.
• Assist with fulfillment of corporate sponsorship agreements to ensure partner satisfaction and retention.
• Contribute to strategies that enhance fan experience, elevate brand visibility, and drive attendance, engagement, and revenue across all sports (with emphasis on men’s and women’s basketball).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in a collegiate or professional athletics setting or related field.
• Demonstrated success in achieving marketing, branding, and in-game presentation goals.
• Knowledge of sports marketing, promotions, and fan experience strategies.
