UI Engineer React Job at Compunnel, Inc. in Jersey City

We are seeking a highly skilled UI Engineer with expertise in React to join our DeFi Yield Generation Platform team.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, collaborating with technical leaders and architects to build a secure crypto yield generation platform.

As a senior member of the team, you will also mentor engineers and contribute to the development of best practices in software engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement user-centric features.
• Utilize state management tools such as NgRx or Redux.
• Write and maintain automated tests using frameworks like Playwright or Cypress.
• Work with REST APIs and integrate backend services.
• Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers.
• Contribute to continuous integration and deployment processes.
• Ensure high standards of performance, reliability, and security in all deliverables.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong focus on React.
• Experience with state management libraries such as NgRx or Redux.
• Hands-on experience with testing frameworks like Playwright or Cypress.
• Strong understanding of UX design principles and customer experience.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and database technologies including SQL.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins Core.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in agile teams.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with the Rust programming language.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS and containerization tools like Docker.
