Job Title: UX Analyst
Location: Bellevue, Washington
Job Type: Contract position (6 Months with possibility of extension)
Pay Range: $37 to $41 per hour
Schedule: Hybrid — 4 days onsite, Friday WFH/remote
Summary
The main function of the User Experience Designer is to work with project teams to design and deliver high quality client-centered, effective, consistent and usable interfaces.
Job Responsibilities
- Work with project teams to design and deliver high quality client-centered, usable interfaces.
- Design user interface specifications by applying client research, design standards, industry best practices, and consideration of strategic business objectives, user needs, and technical constraints.
- Participate in design review sessions with project teams to obtain consensus and approvals on designs and documentation.
- Execute business acceptance test cases and testing.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure usability deliverables align with timelines, budgets, and scope.
- Contribute to development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of usability methodology, processes, documentation, workflows, metrics, and design standards.
- Advocate for user experience principles and user-centered design.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human factors/usability or related discipline.
- 0-2 years related experience.
- Works closely with business analysts, sponsors, project managers and IT teams to understand business requirements.
- Ability to create UI specifications and apply client research and design standards.
- Experience participating in design reviews and acquiring approvals.
- Experience executing usability testing and applying testing principles.
- Knowledge of web client technologies (browsers, HTML, CSS) and experience with a web design standard.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to articulate ideas effectively.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop.
- Strong multitasking, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to gather and translate requirements from sponsors, SMEs, users, and business analysts.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across teams (R&D, TPM/QA, Sales/Marketing, Legal, etc.).
- Design portfolio is required to be considered; password provided if requested.
- Not a hands-on design role but a heavy communication role.
