SCAD seeks a dynamic and dedicated full-time professor to join the SCAD Language Studio Faculty. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching English to speakers of other languages and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment. The full-time Professor of ESL will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective ESL instruction to a diverse student body. In this role you will teach courses and host contact hours as determined by your credentials and university needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Terminal degree/ Master's degree in ESL, TESOL, or related discipline
• Experience teaching in an Intensive English Program
• Teaching experience at the collegiate level
Certificates, licenses, and registrations:
• Valid driver's license
Travel Required:
• Less than 10%
Work Hours:
The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other work days and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
