Base pay range $82.00/hr - $83.00/hr Job Summary Ability to understand and empathize with customer needs, motivations and behaviors, and translate them into compelling design A drive to design the overall end-to-end user experience - from the big picture (the overall user experience and consistency across an entire product) down to specifics of UI layout for a feature or flow Ability to create sketches, wireframes, user flows, mockups, prototypes, and other product artifacts to effectively communicate the why behind your designs while aligning with product requirements An array of design skills, which might include visual, conversational, information architecture, prototyping, strategic design methods (such as design thinking), user research, or writing Must have experience with and be comfortable working in a rapid, iterative software development process Effective communication as a writer, presenter, and facilitator with the ability to give and receive feedback as a collaborator within various teams and design skill levels Familiarity with the value of design systems, understanding reuse and scale, and knowing when to contribute to make them better Creativity, imagination, and curiosity Meticulous and highly developed organizational skills including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Operational understanding of digital tools like Figma, Jira, and Confluence preferred location: Roanoke, Texas job type: Contract salary: $82 - 83 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors Responsibilities 7-10+ years of UX experience preferred 5+ years on agile teams delivering value in digital products preferred Experience organizing, conducting, and/or using research to support evidence-focused design decisions a must A digital portfolio we can review online is required Qualifications 7-10+ years of UX experience preferred 5+ years on agile teams delivering value in digital products preferred Experience organizing, conducting, and/or using research to support evidence-focused design decisions a must A digital portfolio we can review online is required Equal Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.
