Job Responsibilities

Lead targeted digital marketing across Email, SMS, Display, Social, and programmatic TV, with clear ownership of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud strategy and execution. Enhance the prospect and client experience, improve conversion rates, ROI, and digital adoption.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Own the Email channel end-to-end: strategy, execution best practices, and rigorous testing (A/B, multivariate) to drive enrollment, engagement, and revenue.
  • Design and execute test plans across targeted digital marketing: set roadmaps for Email, SMS, Display, Social, and programmatic TV for coordinated, data-driven lifecycle journeys, increasing digital utilization and ROI.
  • Build a learning agenda: prioritize hypotheses, design experiments, and translate insights into scalable playbooks for conversion and retention.
  • Develop long-term plans: reduce physical mail dependence, shifting channel mix toward digital while maintaining compliance and performance.
  • Leverage data: use segmentation and predictive analytics to personalize communications, optimize frequency, and improve funnel performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: work with legal, sales, customer service, creative, product, and agency partners for alignment, compliance, and high-quality execution.
  • Measure, report, and optimize/define KPIs, build dashboards with BI partners, and continuously improve journeys using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, web analytics, and attribution.
  • Champion mobile-first experiences: ensure responsive design, deliverability, inbox placement, and accessibility.
  • Contribute to team culture: mentor teammates, elevate standards, and help build a high-performance, mission-driven marketing organization.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 7+ years in digital marketing (financial services or regulated, customer-centric industries), including hands-on Email channel ownership.
  • Deep optimization experience: A/B and multivariate testing, lead generation, journey analytics, CRO.
  • 7+ years with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC): journey building, automation, triggered/transactional messaging, analytics.
  • Strong command of lifecycle management, segmentation, and personalization strategies.
  • Proven success executing mobile-first and multi-channel engagement strategies.
  • Familiarity with data visualization/BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Domo, Looker).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, influencing stakeholders and guiding teams.
  • Financial services/portfolio company experience is a plus.
