Seeking a Content Strategist for a Growing Global Medical Device Company
Are you a creative leader with a proven track record of building high-impact content teams and delivering bold, customer-centric creative? TorchLight is supporting a global medical device company in the search for a Content Strategist. This role leads a multidisciplinary team of designers, writers, and multimedia specialists to drive content strategy and execution across multiple channels. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment, balancing big-picture vision with day-to-day content operations. This is a hybrid position based in Columbia, MD. Remote candidates will not be considered.
Location:
Hybrid in Columbia, MD with 3 days onsite.
U.S. citizenship or a permanent residency card in the U.S. is required to be an eligible candidate for this opportunity.
Employment:
This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity with flexible scheduling and work-from-home (WFH) options.
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a team of designers, writers, and multimedia specialists to deliver impactful content across formats and channels
- Oversee content planning, development, and execution that aligns with brand identity, business goals, and regulatory guidelines
- Drive continuous improvement by introducing new content creation processes, strategies, and performance reporting
- Serve as team lead for project management tools and workflow efficiency systems
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and other business partners to ensure customer-centric messaging
Skills Needed:
- 7+ years of experience in content marketing, editorial, and/or creative development
- At least 3-4 years managing high-performing content or creative teams
- Strong portfolio of work across multiple formats and channels, including video
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and content optimization tools
- Knowledge of advanced strategies such as immersive content, SEO/LLM, retargeting, and personalization
- Strategic thinker with strong organizational and communication skills
