Description:

LAUNCH is actively seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Video Editor and Producer to join our in-person team based in Austin, TX. This role supports the production of the popular podcast “This Week in Startups” (TWiST), focusing on both audio and video content. It’s a fast-paced opportunity for someone eager to grow professionally while contributing meaningfully to a mission-driven media platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the live production of TWiST every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
  • Produce and edit engaging video content tailored for TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube
  • Collaborate with the streaming team to design and prep original graphics, charts, and visual assets
  • Manage podcast content distribution across all major platforms
  • Provide insightful data analytics to help guide production decisions
  • Participate in occasional travel with the production team
  • Take on other assigned tasks with flexibility and enthusiasm

Skills & Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of GenZ and GenC digital trends
  • TikTok native with a passion for short-form content and memes
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Proficient with various productivity and media tools like Mailchimp, Google Docs, Zapier, Keynote, Squarespace, Slack, Typeform, WordPress, Outreach.io, Notion, and Crunchbase
  • Positive, resilient, and resourceful approach to work
  • Production experience between 0–2 years preferred

Work Schedule:

  • Live shows are streamed at 12 PM CT several times a week
  • On show days, working hours are typically 11 AM to 7 PM CT

Interview Process:
