Chicago Artists Coalition is hiring: Ambient Music Production Lead / Host in Chi

Overview Chicago Artists Coalition helps people connect with opportunities including calls for artists, jobs, and available studio space StretchMetal is seeking a Chicago Show Lead to help run our local programs, including Drone Rodeo, Sound Market, and AMA gatherings. This role combines event setup, artist and audience support, and show hosting, helping create the warm, welcoming atmosphere that defines StretchMetal events. Responsibilities Arrive by 5 PM for 7–10 PM events Transport and set up merch, pillows, and lamp Assist artists and volunteers with setup Host and MC the show — welcome the audience, introduce artists, and share updates Run the merch table and support door/guest list Teardown and settle with venue at end of night Commitment 1–2 shows per month (mostly Tuesdays/Wednesdays; occasional weekends) Typical venues: The Hideout, Comfort Station, BimBom Studios Commit to at least one full season (preferably all three) Compensation $90 per show + AMA Guide membership #J-18808-Ljbffr
