Junior UI/UX Designer (Temp-to-Hire)

• Department: Marketing
• Pay range: $32.00-40.00/hour
• Hybrid Schedule, Monday-Friday, 8:00-4:30
• Position Location: Orlando, FL (Maitland area)

FairSquare is seeking a Junior UI/UX Designer for a temporary position for 3-months, the temporary position may be extended for an additional 3-months and there is a possibility for this position to convert to hire.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging visual designs for web and mobile applications, including UI components, forms and full pages
• Transform wireframes and concepts into polished visual designs
• Build and customize websites using Webflow and WordPress
• Collaborate with UX designers, front-end developers, and project managers
• Ensure designs are technically feasible
• Create and maintain design documentation and specifications for development handoff
• Implement responsive designs across multiple platforms and devices
• Help maintain brand consistency across all digital touchpoints

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience a UI/UX Designer
• Portfolio demonstrating strong visual design skills for digital products
• Proficiency in Figma
• Experience building and customizing websites with Framer
• Working knowledge of WordPress themes and customization
• Understanding of front-end development principles, including HTML, CSS, and responsive design
• Experience with or willingness to learn AI-assisted design tools like Cursor
• Familiarity with how AI can be integrated into design workflows
• Knowledge of atomic/component design, and token design systems
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to effectively communicate design decisions
• Mobile and Web design experience
• Possesses Empathy Softskills
• Self-motivated
• Exhibits a collaborative mindset
• Has well-developed critical thinking skills
