Overview

The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects LSAT students with online tutors nationwide. As a tutor, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—from the comfort of your home.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 1-on-1 online tutoring sessions for LSAT Argumentative Writing using the Varsity Tutors platform.
• Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like.
• Provide personalized instruction, adapt to different learning styles, and match your teaching to each student’s needs.
• Use the platform features, including AI-powered Tutor Copilot for real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement tools to save prep time.
• Handle invoicing for tutoring sessions; Varsity Tutors processes payments.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in LSAT Argumentative Writing with the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education are preferred.

Compensation and Schedule

• Base contract rates start at $18/hour and increase for specialized subjects; pay can reach up to $40/hour with the same student over time.
• Get paid up to twice per week for sessions you conduct and invoice.
