Frontend UI Architect - Philadelphia, PA or Mount Laurel, NJ Overview Frontend UI Architect role based in Philadelphia, PA or Mount Laurel, NJ with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). Must Have Technical/Functional Skills Telecom domain experience (nice to have) Experience with REST APIs Experience working in an Agile team Understanding of the TypeScript type system React using the hooks API with a strong grasp on how to break down and compose components Understanding of standard build tools (transpilers, bundlers, minifiers) and how they fit into the build process for modern UIs Strong grasp of source control using Git Remix (or other full-stack web framework) a plus State machines and state charts with XState a plus Core Responsibilities Collaborates with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements and conducts analysis to determine integration needs Designs new software and web applications, supports applications under development and customizes current applications; assists with software updates and roll-outs of software releases Researches, writes and edits documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals and formal recommendations and reports Monitors and evaluates competitive applications and products; reviews literature, patents and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects Provides technical leadership throughout the design process and guidance with regards to practices, procedures and techniques; serves as a guide and mentor for junior-level Software Development Engineers Works with the Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements Displays in-depth knowledge of engineering methodologies, concepts, skills and their application in the specified engineering specialty Displays knowledge of and ability to apply process design and redesign skills; presents and defends architectural, design and technical choices to internal audiences Displays knowledge of and ability to apply project management skills Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance Regular, consistent and punctual attendance; other duties and responsibilities as assigned Generic Managerial Skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement Education Minimum Degree with IT Skills Compensation Market salary Job Details Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Information Technology Industries: IT Services and IT Consulting Other Inferred from the description for this job Medical insurance Vision insurance 401(k) #J-18808-Ljbffr
