Overview Hiring: Creative Director Company: Rain Media/Organics Ocean brand Reports to: Jeff Allen, President Status: Full-time/W2 Location: Blended (Travel to Phoenix, AZ as required) Position Overview: The Creative Director is responsible for shaping and executing the overarching creative vision for Rain Media’s health and wellness brand, Organics Ocean. This leader will define the look, feel, and voice of all creative outputs, digital, social, packaging, advertising, website, and campaigns, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer experience. The role requires a visionary with proven expertise in e-commerce and performance marketing, who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. Responsibilities Brand Leadership & Vision Define and own the creative direction across all channels, ensuring consistency with brand identity and customer experience. Creative Strategy Develop high-performing creative campaigns that balance storytelling and direct-response performance. Team Leadership & Execution Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary creative team (designers, copywriters, videographers, freelancers). Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Marketing, Product, and Operations to launch new products and campaigns. Align creative vision with supply chain realities. Present with the CEO and/or President to connect creative strategy to revenue outcomes. Quality & Standards Set high standards for design, copy, and overall brand expression. Ensure outputs comply with health/wellness industry standards and FTC guidelines. Requirements 8+ years of creative leadership experience, with at least 5 years in e-commerce / DTC (health, wellness, CPG, or supplements preferred). Project management Availability to work overlapping Arizona Time - UTC−7 History of self-initiated projects Interest in product storytelling and project strategy Proven track record of driving measurable business results through creative campaigns Strong portfolio demonstrating mastery across digital advertising, social media, packaging, and branding Deep understanding of performance marketing metrics and how creative drives growth Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills Comfortable managing in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment Bonus: Experience working with agencies, freelancers, or global creative partners Additional requirements Willingness to work US time zones, regardless of geographic location Access to a computer Reliable internet connection Reliable and distraction-free work environment Success Metrics Increased conversion rates and ROAS from creative assets Successful on-time launch of new products and campaigns High creative testing velocity with data-backed iteration Strong engagement and retention of creative team talent Consistent reinforcement of Organics Ocean’s premium, transparent brand identity Software Utilized by the Company Klaviyo, Postscript, Go High Level, Gem Pages, Shopify, ClickUp, Slack, Google Workspace, Dropbox, Microsoft 360, GoDaddy Offer Details This is a full-time, W-2 position. Base Pay is $100,000-$120,000/year based on experience.
