What Will You Do?
As a Marketing Coordinator at Pine Rest, you’ll be part of a tight-knit team that believes in the healing power of your expertise and compassion. The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operational activities of the marketing & communications department across multiple platforms for one of the largest behavioral health organizations in the nation. The position provides executive-level support to department director and managers, develops and maintains records, monitors budget, and manages the office. Additionally, the employee serves as a facilitator and coordinator of special events. The Marketing Coordinator is dedicated to excellent customer service and fostering a sense of belonging and empowerment in a diverse workplace.
- Creates a customer-friendly environment and maintains mutually constructive relationships with customers (internal and external).
- Evaluates/monitors the impact of programs or processes, recommending and implementing changes.
- Develops/maintains up-to-date record keeping systems, including data collection, data analysis and tracking related activity.
- Maintains an up-to-date understanding of Pine Rest programs and their needs.
- May coordinate special events or be assigned special projects; acts as a coordinator for events and program activity.
- May act as a consultant in area of specialty to other department members and managers.
- Makes recommendations on procedures, reports, and/or computer system changes related to programs.
- Effectively communicates program/procedural changes to appropriate individuals, groups, or organization.
- Complies with internal and external policy.
- Maintains knowledge of current trends and developments in the field by reading relevant literature and attending related conferences or seminars.
- Problem solves non-routine issues. Decisions made at this level will affect the department and have limited potential to affect related programs.
- Manages calendars, writes correspondence, provides support, and anticipates needs of marketing executives.
- Purchasing, monitors budget, and manages, processes and tracks expenditures.
- Develops and manages marketing databases using SharePoint, Access, Excel and CRM software.
- Manages exhibit booth travels, processes paperwork for conferences, trains staff to set up and take down exhibits, provides collaterals and promotional items.
- Plans and hosts events such as open houses and press conferences.
- Utilizes website content management system to update website, post events to calendar, set up event registrations and upload information to staff intranet.
- Fulfills online and phone orders for marketing materials and coordinates requests with stakeholders.
- Manages Speakers Bureau by working with clinic managers to fill requests from churches, schools and businesses.
- Manages creative projects such as brochures, invitations, posters, information sheets, postcards and other collateral materials; vendor relations, negotiation, and quality control of products; meet delivery deadlines; produce and order business cards for staff.
What Does This Role Require?
Education/Experience
- Proficiency normally attained through the completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. Equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered.
- Demonstrated experience in a professional administrative environment.
- Marketing and database experience.
