Manage staff, equipment, budgets, and client relationships while troubleshooting technical issues and providing effective solutions. Manage AV staff responsible for troubleshooting and resolving various AV issues, including but not limited to audio issues, visual disruptions, connectivity failures, equipment malfunctions, and control system glitches. Handle complex AV issues, such as integrating diverse AV technologies from various vendors, with different protocols and configurations; ensure compatibility with new and legacy systems, and adapt to emerging technologies. Collaborate with IT and Facilities to integrate AV technology with infrastructure and ensure network compatibility Develop and document AV procedures, standards, and best practices. Stay informed about AV trends and technologies to recommend improvements or upgrades. Create and manage the AV budget, including cost projections for equipment, maintenance, and labor. Work closely with clients, vendors, and other team members to ensure the successful delivery of events. Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management. Manage staff, equipment, budgets, and client relationships while troubleshooting technical issues and providing effective solutions. Provide hands-on support during high-profile or complex events. Handle complex AV issues, such as integrating diverse AV technologies from various vendors, with different protocols and configurations; ensure compatibility with new and legacy systems, and adapt to emerging technologies. Collaborate with IT and Facilities to integrate AV technology with infrastructure and ensure network compatibility Develop and document AV procedures, standards, and best practices. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience required Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in event management, as well as the implementation and operation of audio-visual (AV) and video conferencing systems, is required. Minimum two (2) years of supervisory experience required Certifications such as Certified Technology Specialist (CTS), CTS-D, or CTS-I are a plus. Audiovisual Network Professional Certification (ANP) is also preferred. Strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills are also essential for managing teams and working with clients.
