Summary:

Cosm is redefining the future of live sports and entertainment experiences. At the heart of our broadcast innovation is C360, a leading-edge immersive camera and software system that captures every angle of the action. We are looking for a self-motivated, energetic Sr Broadcast Field Manager to lead the deployment, operations, and support of our broadcast systems across multiple major sports venues. This role is responsible for ensuring the seamless coverage and high-quality output for live events, with an emphasis on football.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead all field operations for immersive broadcast camera systems, ensuring flawless setup, performance, and output.
  • Manage on-site technical crews including Operators, Field and RF Technicians covering scheduling, training, and live performance oversight.
  • Collaborate with broadcast partners, production teams, and internal stakeholders to integrate technology seamlessly into live sports workflows.
  • Oversee logistics for broadcast equipment, ensuring readiness, maintenance, and safe transport between events.
  • Ability to set-up systems and troubleshoot on-site or remotely to resolve issues quickly in live environments.
  • Be available for set-up and game days in support of remote crews to answer requests quickly and accurately.
  • Provide post-event reports on crew effectiveness, systems performance, and production outcomes.
Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Engineering or related field preferred
  • 10-15 years of successful experience in live broadcast operations, ideally with live major sports productions; broadcast networks, sports leagues or other major sports broadcast experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills with cameras, controllers, PCs and broadcast software. Experience with Cosm C360 software applications is a plus.
  • Knowledge of venue/remote production infrastructure and connectivity. Proven ability to work in high-pressure, time-sensitive team-oriented environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of live sports remote production, workflows, and broadcasting operations.
  • Knowledge of video editing techniques, content delivery and MS Windows.
  • Willingness to travel frequently (50%+) and work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Growth mindset, interested in learning new emerging technologies.
  • Passion for football and live sports, combined with eagerness to drive broadcast innovation.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, and ability to build trust and relationships with both technical and production partners.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
