Role Overview The Creative Director will lead our entire Creative function, ensuring all brand, marketing, and commercial efforts are visually and experientially aligned to our overarching brand narrative. This role is both strategic and hands-on—responsible for working closely with the VP of Brand to set the creative vision while guiding and executing creative deliverables across channels. Reporting directly to the VP of Brand , this leader will serve as a strategic partner to the Brand and Marketing teams, transforming strategies into visual, digital, and experiential creative that resonates, captivates, and converts. This person will play a pivotal role in translating our purpose, products, and mission into meaningful, inspiring, and disruptive creative expressions. Key Responsibilities Creative Leadership & Strategy Build upon the brand’s visual identity across all touchpoints, ensuring consistency while evolving the aesthetic to keep the brand fresh, modern, and disruptive. Serve as a strategic partner to the Brand and Marketing teams to ensure creative execution aligns with commercial and marketing strategies, campaign objectives, and overarching brand narrative. Lead and inspire a small internal creative team and manage external creative partners/agencies, as needed. Creative Execution Across Channels Oversee and direct creative development and execution for: Campaigns (product launches, promotional initiatives, brand) Owned-retail eCommerce Community/Counter brand partners Social Commerce (eg. TikTok Shop) Organic and Paid Social Brand Partnerships + Collaborations Seasonal Direct Mailers OOH Campaigns Print & Packaging Internal brand collateral Brand Expression & Narrative Building Ensure creative execution brings the brand’s purpose and story to life across all channels, supporting the enterprise narrative and reinforcing key brand values. Champion innovative, forward-thinking creative that balances industry disruption with beauty + cultural relevance. Act as a key steward of the brand, continuously refining how we show up to our community and beyond. Team Development & Resource Management Build, mentor, and inspire a small but high-performing creative team. Manage creative resourcing, agency/vendor partnerships, and budgets as needed. Qualifications 8+ years of experience in a creative leadership role, ideally within the beauty, fashion, wellness, or lifestyle industries. Deep expertise in visual storytelling and brand identity development. Proven ability to lead creative for omnichannel marketing strategies from concept to execution, including digital, social, video, and experiential. Strong conceptual thinker with a passion for building purpose-driven, disruptive brands. Hands-on design or art direction skills; comfortable overseeing both strategy and tactical execution. Experience managing creative teams and external vendors. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Collaborative and solutions-oriented mindset.
