What To Expect We are seeking an experienced MEP Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of experience in designing dry and wet mechanical systems, with experience in industrial greenfield and brownfield projects.
Responsibilities Develop and produce accurate and appealing industry standard MEP drawings, layouts, and 3D models using Revit and AutoCAD
Assist in the design of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical systems in accordance with applicable codes and project requirements
Coordinate MEP system layouts with architectural, structural, electrical, and process components
Use Revizto, Navisworks, or similar tools for clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination
Generate construction drawings, equipment schedules, single line diagram, P&ID, riser diagrams, and details
Can perform basic calculations and understand and interpret engineer(s) work and approach to develop schematics, concepts, and further advance the design
Participate in design reviews, coordination meetings, and model updates
What You'll Bring CAD/BIM certifications or coursework preferred
4-7 years of experience in MEP drafting and design for building systems
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is required
Familiarity with Revizto, Navisworks, or other BIM coordination tools is a plus
Working knowledge of ASHRAE, NEC, IPC, or other relevant building codes and design standards
