Overview Our Tampa, Florida (FL) office is looking for a Civil Operator or Designer with 6+ years of experience to join our Roadway team! Responsibilities Implement and manage drafting and plan preparation standards Develop technical drawings and plans Prepare drawings and plans of substantial complexity and perform multifaceted calculations as needed Perform day-to-day tasks with minimal supervision Apply knowledge of engineering principles and suggest design changes Maintain drawing database Supervise and train CAD staff Coordinate work activities to maintain schedules and ensure quality control Develop familiarity with Kimley-Horn’s practices, procedures, and standards Qualifications 6+ years of relevant experience High school diploma or equivalent (associates degree preferred) Ability to set up and manage printing/plotting settings Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Bentley products Strong work ethic, interpersonal communication/writing skills, and desire to learn Ability to work independently and with a team Willingness to mentor and teach others Detail oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self-starter Why Kimley-Horn?
