Who We’re Looking For Are you ready to launch your career in interior design? We’re looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our collaborative team. What You’ll Do – Your Creative Impact · • Support design and presentation drafting for interior design projects including planning, conceptual design, schematic design, and design development tasks.
· • Apply established interior design standards and assist with documentation.
· • Research and select interior products, colors, finishes, and materials.
· • Maintain the resource library and coordinate product representative meetings.
· • Perform site surveys and documentation.
· • Complete routine checking and verification tasks.
· • Utilize Revit and presentation tools to support design development.
· • Incorporate purposeful design that reflects the project’s story and maintains consistent design flow throughout the building.
Requirements
Competencies · • Knowledge of interior design concepts, practices, and procedures.
· • Ability to read architectural drawings.
· • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD required.
· • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) highly desirable.
· • Proficiency with SketchUp or Rhino highly desirable (Lumion, Enscape, and V-Ray are a plus).
· • Strong organizational skills, self-motivated, and effective under pressure.
· • Familiarity with industry terminology and standard construction methods/materials preferred.
· • Strong visual discrimination and attention to detail.
· • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· • Experience in healthcare design industry required.
Work Environment This position operates in a professional open office environment with low to moderate noise levels including collaborative work areas for team meetings. Each office provides collaborative work areas and shared resources such as video conferencing, printing/scanning, and a café for dining. Building construction sites may include varying temperatures, wind, dust, and noise levels and may include hazardous and dirty conditions.
Physical Demands · • Hand/Wrist/Finger dexterity for 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week.
· • Ability to lift 15 to 25 lbs of material samples.
· • Ability to sit for long periods of time.
Position Type/Hours Expected to Work This is a full-time position with a minimum expectation of 40 hours per week.
Travel Occasional travel may be required.
Required Education and Experience · • Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related field.
· • Entry-level, minimal experience required.
Work Authorization Sponsorship may be considered.
