Position Summary What you'll do
Communicate with or to individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g., customers, suppliers, associates)
Implement the business plan for area of responsibility by communicating goals and managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties and coordinating workloads to achieve facility goals (e.g., production, quality, safety)
Monitor and manage productivity of area of responsibility by preparing, reviewing, and/or analyzing business reports
Maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained on logistics and company policies, standards, and procedures; monitor associate compliance; distribute and maintain procedures and supporting documentation
Identify associate, customer, and/or supplier concerns by listening and consulting with others to determine corrective action or recommendations to resolve
Supervise and develop associates and leaders by assigning duties, coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, providing feedback, teaching, supporting, and modeling policies and procedures; identify training and development needs; participate in hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation
Manage maintenance department daily operations by monitoring and ensuring performance related to maintaining warehouse equipment (e.g., material handling equipment, pneumatic systems, electrical systems, air compressors, ammonia refrigeration equipment) and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations (e.g., OSHA, Hazardous Waste, NFPA, Storm Water, DOT)
Manage financial aspects as assigned or in area of responsibility by monitoring and tracking expenses and capital expenditures against budget, monitoring asset utilization, and preparing/reviewing/analzying business reports
Foster a respectful, inclusive workplace and collaborate with others to build high-performing teams, belonging, and opportunities for associates to thrive
Act with integrity, uphold Walmart values, model ethical behavior, and hold self and others accountable
Serve customers and members by delivering results and applying business models to plans; make customer-focused decisions based on data insights

Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance bonuses and, for certain positions, regional pay zone (RPZ) and stock.

Minimum Qualifications
Associate's Degree or Technical School Certification in an industrial-related field with 1 year of related maintenance department supervisory experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Industrial, or related field OR 1 year supervisory experience in a maintenance-related environment supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors, managing workload, and participating in hiring/promotion; OR 2 years Walmart Logistics maintenance experience including six months leading a work or project team (e.g., risk control); OR 2 years supervisory experience in an industrial-related environment with 1 year experience in the maintenance field
Associates will be required to attend and complete all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings)
