Position Summary What you'll do Communicate with or to individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g., customers, suppliers, associates) Implement the business plan for area of responsibility by communicating goals and managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties and coordinating workloads to achieve facility goals (e.g., production, quality, safety) Monitor and manage productivity of area of responsibility by preparing, reviewing, and/or analyzing business reports Maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained on logistics and company policies, standards, and procedures; monitor associate compliance; distribute and maintain procedures and supporting documentation Identify associate, customer, and/or supplier concerns by listening and consulting with others to determine corrective action or recommendations to resolve Supervise and develop associates and leaders by assigning duties, coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, providing feedback, teaching, supporting, and modeling policies and procedures; identify training and development needs; participate in hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation Manage maintenance department daily operations by monitoring and ensuring performance related to maintaining warehouse equipment (e.g., material handling equipment, pneumatic systems, electrical systems, air compressors, ammonia refrigeration equipment) and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations (e.g., OSHA, Hazardous Waste, NFPA, Storm Water, DOT) Manage financial aspects as assigned or in area of responsibility by monitoring and tracking expenses and capital expenditures against budget, monitoring asset utilization, and preparing/reviewing/analzying business reports Foster a respectful, inclusive workplace and collaborate with others to build high-performing teams, belonging, and opportunities for associates to thrive Act with integrity, uphold Walmart values, model ethical behavior, and hold self and others accountable Serve customers and members by delivering results and applying business models to plans; make customer-focused decisions based on data insights Strive for excellence by embracing continuous improvement, learning, and adapting to new technologies and changes Adhere to program benefits and eligibility guidelines; communicate available benefits and eligibility information to associates At Walmart, we offer competitive pay and benefits. The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$120,000.00.
