Overview
Camden’s Graphic Designer will be responsible for graphic design needs externally and internally. Must have design skills in print, digital, and video, proofreading, project/order tracking, ftp uploading and vendor management. The candidate will have the skills required for creation and editing videos, and design of both internal and external campaigns/pieces to include but not limited to: social media creative, collateral, site maps, floor plans, training resources, internal newsletter, printed ads, banners, posters, flyers, signage, stationary, web graphics, SharePoint design, email design, PowerPoint templates, logos.
Responsibilities
Oversee all graphic design needs for advertising, print, internal newsletters, social media, and web graphics. Follow Branding Guidelines and obtain the Marketing Manager's approval before printing or publishing.
Maintain the internal Marketing site on SharePoint and update it consistently with new creative and content.
Administer and update internal community files on SharePoint.
Sustain internal company site, The Hub, with graphics and content to help onsite teams assist their prospects and residents.
Administer all eMarketing needs and communication with vendors.
Oversee all company contest submissions from approval to mockups to legal and publishing to the contest website.
Support all 170+ Camden communities with creation and updates to collateral, including floor/site plan artwork. Maintain graphics library and assist with organizing photography—stock images and product images; oversee user administration rights. Purchase stock images.
Communicate with regional marketing directors and community managers to collect and approve all collateral updates before printing or publishing.
Develop and prove new creative pieces and copy, coordinate shipping of items, and upload to Box or FTP accounts.
Video production capturing company-wide philanthropic, social media, and advertising of Camden and properties, including full-video and short-form videos, MP4/GIF.

Requirements
2-3 years experience in advertising/marketing or in-house marketing department
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Communications/Graphic Design
Skilled and Proficient in Industry Design Standard Adobe Creative Cloud Software Including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premier Pro, and After Effects
Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel and Google Docs/Surveys
Experience in CMS - Contentful preferred, Squarespace and/or PowerPoint required
Experience in Monday.com or other project management and tracking software
Meticulous proofing abilities required
Creative copywriting
Knowledge of internal marketing
Organizational skills
Exceptional customer service
Time management skills required. Graphic designer will be involved with numerous projects at one time with different deadlines.
Knowledge of printing processes and production
Fine Print / Physical Demands
Job is intermittently sedentary but requires mobility (i.e., climb stairs) to tour, show, and inspect apartments on a daily basis
Will use some repetitive motion of hand-wrist in using computer and writing
Must have normal range of vision to complete applications, leases, general paperwork and handle computerized bookkeeping duties; hearing and speech to communicate with residents, vendors, supervisors and coworkers on the telephone or in person on a regular basis
Must handle stressful, urgent, novel and diverse work situations on a daily basis
Emotional stability and personal maturity are important attributes in this position
Works in a typical office setting with daily exposure to outdoor environment when touring community
Hazards can be avoided with proper lifting techniques, SDS and general safety training
Will be regularly called upon to work long hours and odd schedules (including weekends)
Position requires periodic travel by automobile to handle work-related activities
May require airline travel, out-of-town and/or overnight trips
Attendance and punctuality is essential for success in this position
