Position Description Perimeter College is seeking a part-time violin/viola instructor to teach applied violin and viola lessons beginning in the spring 2026 semester. Required Experience None Specified. Required Education Applicants MUST have a minimum of a master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) in violin or viola performance or pedagogy. Preferred Qualifications/Experience Teaching experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to teach Applied Violin and Viola at the collegiate level. Ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods, relate to students and facilitate student learning. Effective communication skills needed. Excellent organizational and teaching skills. Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology is required. Licenses, Certifications, or Registrations None Specified. Pre-Employment Requirements A criminal background check is required. Work Hours Position may require non-standard hours (including day, evening, online, hybrid, weekend and/or other campus locations).
