The Opportunity
A results-oriented senior manager of PP&T (Price, Promotion, and Trade) is sought to lead division\'s revenue growth and profitability by strategically managing pricing, promotional activities, and trade spend. This role requires working cross-functionally with various departments like Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product Management to ensure alignment and effective implementation of pricing, trade, and promotional strategies.
Responsibilities Oversees ROI pre-assessment using sales forecasts to guide strategic resource allocation and investment decisions
Develop and execute pricing strategies by aligning with product management team to set prices for products across various channels, optimizing price points
Analyze market trends and competitive pricing to make informed pricing decisions and to identify opportunities for price optimization
Develop and implement promotional strategies that align with business objectives and attract target audiences
Monitor and evaluate promotional performance for adjustments based on performance and market trends
Develop trade strategies and plans, collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to ensure alignment with the company\'s growth and profit objectives
Optimize trade spending by analyzing trade promotion executions to uncover opportunities for improved ROI and influencing tangible improvements for key customers
Present pricing analysis and recommendations to senior management and influencing decision-making processes
Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, or other related fields
Master\'s degree (MBA) and/or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred
Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience, with a focus on pricing, promotion management, or trade optimization
In-depth understanding and experience in developing and implementing various pricing strategies (e.g., cost-based, competitive, penetration, value-based)
Experience with analytical tools and methodologies for pricing and promotion optimization
Proven ability to lead projects, influence cross-functional partners, and build strong relationships with stakeholders, including senior leadership
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present complex data and insights in a clear, concise, and compelling manner
Experience working with and managing data warehousing systems for accessing and utilizing large datasets
Recruiting Range $103,000—$175,000 USD
