In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping and promoting the public image of our organization. As a Public Relations Associate, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a positive brand image through strategic communication and outreach efforts. Salary Range: $21.00 - $30.25 hourly Key Responsibilities Assist in developing and implementing public relations strategies to enhance brand visibility. Draft and distribute press releases, media kits, and other communication materials. Manage daily media inquiries and develop strong relationships with journalists and media outlets. Coordinate and support the planning and execution of events, including press conferences and community outreach programs. Monitor and analyze media coverage to gauge the effectiveness of PR efforts. Collaborate with marketing and social media teams to create cohesive messaging across all platforms. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience (internships included) in public relations or communications roles. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with media relations and a strong network of contacts in the industry. Ability to think creatively and develop innovative PR strategies.
