About Your Team Our Trading Platforms group is looking for a Software Engineer with experience creating outstanding responsive UI. Candidates should communicate effectively, understand problems and explain their solutions. The role suits an organized individual who can meet deadlines, follow written procedures, and collaborate as a team player. You will work with the latest technology and have a competitive compensation package.
What will be your responsibilities within IBKR Develop data models that interface with backend services and supply reactive updates to the UI.
Spend 90% of your time doing hands-on coding.
Which Skills are Required Hands-on experience with the Qt framework and QML is preferred. Otherwise experience developing responsive UI with reactive frameworks (React Native, Flutter, etc.).
Experience with Java or C++, and a solid understanding of object-oriented development and patterns.
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related area.
Four-plus years of hands-on experience in application development.
To be successful A love of coding and developing complex user interfaces.
The ability to quickly learn new development skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work well in a fast-moving environment with a team of intelligent and intense peers.
This role's anticipated base salary range is $130,000 to $180,000 annually based on skill and experience. The offered salary is part of the total compensation package, which includes a discretionary cash bonus, stock awards, and a range of benefits (health care, tuition reimbursement, and more).
