Description Betches Media is looking for a Freelance Sports Video Producer who lives and breathes storytelling and is obsessed with the intersection of sports, culture, and chaos. If you can name at least 3 NFL scandals, follow athletes' dating drama like it’s a full-time job, and think WAGs deserves a 10-part docuseries, this is your dream job. This role will lead the production of documentary-style, a sports talk show, and/or editorially driven sports content for Betches platforms (YouTube, social, podcast video, and beyond). You’ll pitch ideas, write scripts, direct talent, manage shoots, and oversee post-production—basically, you’ll make sports content that doesn’t feel like traditional sports content. Develop, produce, and execute longform (5–30 min) sports content series, shows, and videos from start to finish. Pitch and shape compelling narratives around trending sports moments, athlete profiles, historical deep-dives, and internet-fueled drama. Work with hosts and on-camera talent to shape tone, voice, and structure. Collaborate with editors, designers, and post production team to ensure high-quality visual storytelling. Research and write scripts (or supervise scriptwriting) that are accurate, funny, and insightful. Maintain and update production calendars, coordinate shoot logistics, and keep everything running on time and under budget. Be plugged into both sports and pop culture to spot rising trends before they peak. Qualifications 2-5 years of professional experience producing editorial, documentary, or YouTube-style longform content. Deep knowledge of sports—especially women’s sports, college sports, pop culture crossovers, and viral athlete moments. Strong writing and editorial skills—you know how to tell a great story that’s both smart and scroll-stopping. Comfortable directing talent and working across all phases of production. Strong preference for real-time sports experience be it on the ground content capture at live events or production of sports shows A problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, meme-loving environment. Bonus points if you have experience with post-production workflows, podcast video production, or digital media startups. Compensation The hourly rate for this position is $40 from 20 hours per week. Desarrollar, producir y ejecutar series de contenido deportivo de larga duración (530 min) , programas y videos desde el principio hasta el final.
