Overview Visual Merchandiser - Kenwood Towne Centre at Altar'd State Location: 163 - Kenwood Towne Center - Cincinnati, OH Position overview: The Merchandiser supports the Store Leader by executing merchandising and seasonal décor to create a beautiful environment for guests and to achieve store goals. You will provide guests with exceptional service through relationship building and maintaining an inspirational, well-maintained environment. Merchandisers drive excellence and leadership in all visual aspects of the store, including elevated product merchandising, window designs, and results through the store’s presentation. Responsibilities People Foster a guest-focused team environment by driving volume and anticipating guest needs Deliver excellent guest service by modeling company standards Provide timely feedback to associates, recognize performance, and support retention Hold self and associates accountable for financial results and performance standards Manage conflict and coach using company processes and guidelines Empower associates in decision-making and involve them in relevant tasks Foster dialog around solutions and develop associates through delegated tasks and tailored growth Support relationship building and recognize individual contributions Lead through change and adversity; participate in hiring and promotions discussions based on performance Process Respond to product and presentation needs of the business Maintain seasonal window décor weekly Plan and delegate tasks to control workflow Analyze store performance using company tools to identify opportunities in product placement, outfitting, and stock levels Execute directives within designated time frames Update window mannequins weekly Teach standards of product flow, merchandising, and product knowledge to the team Adhere to loss prevention practices and report incidents to protect company assets Communicate effectively with the executive team Coach the team on analyzing business-related visual presentation to achieve department goals Lead a forward-thinking guest experience through merchandising and in-store marketing Lead a creative community to drive sales through an inspiring store environment Must be able to lift and carry heavy boxes (up to 30 lbs) Presentation Utilize weekly reports to track, analyze, and communicate business results and strategies to maximize sales Interpret Home Office visual direction with Store Leader and District Leader Oversee floor sets, window sets, fixture placement, and overall visual environment with Store Leader Maintain awareness of brand aesthetics and communicate with the team Manage placement of new products and share performance observations with the Store Leader Qualifications At least 1 year of merchandising experience Bachelor’s Degree preferred Physical ability to perform tasks requiring standing, reaching, kneeling, and squatting; ability to lift and carry 30 pounds regularly Seniority level Entry level Employment type Full-time Job function Marketing and Sales Industries Retail #J-18808-Ljbffr
