You’ll be a helpful resource to teammates and clients alike. What You’ll Do Deliver sleek, sophisticated home automation solutions, from wiring and mounting to programming and troubleshooting Create intuitive, reliable systems that make technology feel like magic Serve as the go-to expert for tune-ups and provide guidance to teammates and clients Who You Are A seasoned pro – 5+ years of A/V experience A problem solver – you debug, recalibrate, and solve issues Detail-oriented – clean terminations, organized racks, and precise programming A team player – collaborative, communicative, ready to help Technically fearless – networks, control systems, WiFi APs, etc. A lifelong learner – curious about upgrades and system improvements Client-focused – you shape the user experience so clients feel valued The Nitty-Gritty Details System Installations & Programming Program new and existing Savant control systems and Lutron lighting/shading systems Install and configure wired and wireless networking hardware Fabricate and wire equipment racks, ensuring clean layouts and secure terminations Terminate and test Cat5/6, coaxial, and fiber cabling with precision Troubleshooting & Tech Support Diagnose and resolve technical issues with both new and legacy systems Provide support to fellow team members and offer guidance when needed Interface directly with clients to ensure optimal performance and satisfaction Requirements 5+ years of AV integration experience in residential or commercial settings Strong grasp of network infrastructure—routers, firewalls, managed switches, WiFi APs Proficient using both PC and Mac platforms Solid knowledge of control systems and best practices in calibration and testing Ability to read schematics, follow build plans, and adapt in real-time Clear communicator with a clean driving record and valid driver’s license Must pass a comprehensive background check Where & When Your HQ: Based out of Stamford, CT Your Playground: Projects primarily in Fairfield County, NYC, and Long Island Your Schedule: Full-time with overtime opportunities Hours: Monday - Friday | 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM What Drives Us – Our Core Values Great Customer Service – Listen first, communicate clearly, and deliver with confidence Obsessed with the Client Experience – We’re not satisfied until the client is thrilled Exceed Expectations – For our team, our clients, and ourselves Accountability – Own your work, your mistakes, and your wins Honesty & Integrity – We’re all about trust, respect, and a can-do attitude The Good Stuff (Because You Deserve It!) 401k: with up to 3.5% match PTO: 10 days per year Sick Days: 5 per year Paid Holidays: 8 per year (7 fixed + 1 floating) Dental/Health/Vision Insurance Exclusive Vendor Discounts – From high-end audio to top-tier tech Training & Growth – We’re always evolving and we want you to grow with us What We're Like We’re a close-knit crew that believes the best work comes from a positive, collaborative environment.
