We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Marketing Content Specialist to join our team. In this mid-level role, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and executing strategic content across a variety of channels to drive brand awareness, support software launches, and improve prospect and customer engagement. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a technical, collaborative environment and enjoys turning complex ideas into clear, compelling content.
This is an in-person position in Chapel Hill, NC.
Key Responsibilities Write and edit high-quality, SEO-optimized copy for company websites and landing pages.
Manage the company’s communication calendar and coordinate execution across channels.
Oversee and coordinate customer case studies and company articles working with outside technical writers, customers and co-workers.
Assist with communications for software releases, including drafting messaging and coordinating outreach to customers and partners.
Develop, write, and deploy press releases and media announcements.
Plan and execute online and print advertising campaigns in collaboration with external vendors and internal stakeholders.
Oversee social media content creation, scheduling, and community engagement.
Coordinate the creation and distribution of email marketing campaigns and customer announcements.
Maintain and update multiple corporate websites to ensure accuracy and alignment with marketing goals.
Manage webinar promotion, logistics, and follow-up communications.
Organize and maintain content assets on SharePoint and other internal distribution systems.
Support internal communications and cross-functional collaboration on content-related initiatives.
Qualifications BA in marketing, communication, liberal arts or a related field.
3–5+ years of experience in content marketing, communications, or related roles, preferably in a technical environment.
Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate complex technical topics into engaging and accessible content.
Solid understanding of SEO best practices and keyword research.
Proficiency with digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, WordPress (or similar CMS), and email platforms (e.g., Mailchimp or HubSpot).
Experience managing website content and corporate communications workflows.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Experience with SharePoint and webinar platforms (e.g., Zoom, GoToWebinar) is a plus.
