We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team in Lexington, KY . Key Responsibilities Collaborate with sales, project management, and clients to develop furniture layouts and interior design concepts for educational spaces. Create 2D and 3D space plans using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, CET Designer, Revit, SketchUp). Select materials, finishes, and furnishings that align with educational design standards and client needs. Provide design presentations, mood boards, and furniture specifications to clients and stakeholders. Conduct site visits to gather measurements and assess installation requirements. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field. Previous experience in educational, commercial, or institutional design preferred. Proficiency in AutoCAD, CET Designer (or equivalent), and Microsoft Office. Strong understanding of space planning and FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment). Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with educational institutions (K-12 or higher ed). Knowledge of educational furniture brands and standards (e.g., ergonomics for students, flexible learning environments).
