Student Intermediate Level Overview The UNM Anderson School of Management is seeking a creative and detail-oriented student to join our Communication and Events team. This position focuses on designing high-quality visual assets to support Anderson’s marketing goals across print, web, and social media. The ideal candidate will have strong graphic design skills, a solid understanding of design principles, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign.
This role will be responsible for designing materials such as brochures, flyers, social media graphics, digital ads, and other marketing collateral. The position requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to apply marketing best practices in visual design. Experience with layout design for longer-form documents, such as multi-page brochures and reports, is essential. In addition to design work, the student may assist with other marketing activities as assigned, such as social media content creation and campaign support.
The student will also:
Design and create posters, brochures, flyers, and other promotional materials
Develop cohesive social media content that aligns with UNM brand guidelines
Write and edit clear, effective copy for digital and print design projects
Work collaboratively with other team members

Minimum Qualifications Equivalencies not found for this position
Preferred Qualifications Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign
Strong understanding of design principles and typography
Creativity and ability to translate marketing goals into visual concepts
Experience designing for both print and digital platforms
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Familiarity with marketing best practices and social media content creation
Comfortable contributing ideas and working as part of a team
