Overview Student Technical Specialist – Requisition ID req34521 Working Title: Journalist/Copywriter Pay: $21.00 Hourly Campus: Main - Albuquerque, NM Department: Off Campus Work Study (454F) Employment Type: Student Employment Student Type: Work-Study Status: Non-Exempt Background Check Required: No For Best Consideration Date: 9/15/2025 Organization: Global Give-A-Book Location: CNM Montoya Campus (4700 Morris NE Abq) An Off-Campus Work-Study Position What You’ll Do Write compelling campaign copy across email, web, social, and print Capture and document the brand’s story, achievements, and ongoing mission Collaborate with the Graphic Designer and Marketing Lead to build powerful messaging and creative materials Help develop and refine offerings, programs, and services that add value to our community and supporters Work with the Sales and Marketing teams to craft high-converting offers that resonate emotionally and practically Assist in the creation of donor decks, outreach materials, website content, and physical products Interview team members and community leaders to develop first-person narratives that amplify our cause What You Get You’ll be part of a team that’s changing lives through words and action. You’ll grow as a writer, creative, and changemaker, while helping us share the kind of stories the world needs more of. 15-20 Hours Per Week Minimum Qualifications Enrolled in a degree-seeking program at UNM, enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at UNM for fall and spring semesters (Audit hours do not count), and if Work Study, you must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress.
