The Marketing Assistant supports the marketing and sales team for one or more brands, coordinating events and trade shows, assisting with strategic partnerships, and managing marketing materials and data organization.
Responsibilities Events & Trade Show Coordination and Execution: assist with planning, logistics, and execution of company events and industry trade shows from start to finish; coordinate event registrations, booth setup, material shipping, and vendor communications; support on-site activities including attendee registration, booth management, and lead collection; facilitate post-event follow-up including lead distribution and performance tracking; monitor trade show inventory and marketing collateral orders; set up material part numbers; track back orders.
Partnerships & Sponsorships Assistance: identify potential partnership and sponsorship opportunities; coordinate and communicate with partners and sponsors; ensure agreements and deliverables are met; support execution of co-marketing initiatives.
Marketing & Promotional Materials Management: create, inventory, and distribute marketing collateral (samples, brochures, flyers, presentations, promotional items); ensure materials adhere to brand guidelines and are available for sales and marketing needs; coordinate with external vendors for production and delivery.
Sales Team Marketing Support: act as marketing contact for the sales team; fulfill requests for materials, presentations, and lead lists; customize content and proposals for opportunities; support sales enablement tools and track programs; provide administrative support (phone, email, invoices, marketing orders, expense tracking); support loyalty marketing campaigns; perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a marketing assistant or similar role.
Familiarity with graphic design principles and tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) is a plus.
Proven experience in event and trade show coordination and execution.
Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail; excellent written and verbal communication; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment; proactive, self-motivated, and a team player.
Work Environment Typically an office environment, with potential travel up to 15% for industry events and partner engagement.
Ability to lift and transport marketing materials up to 25 lbs; some flexibility in hours leading up to and during events.
