We are seeking a Marketing Assistant to assist the marketing department with its initiatives and campaigns. In this position, you will help to create and/or coordinate content, track results, and support the implementation of all marketing strategies. Often, you will act as the intermediary between Marketing and other teams within our organization.
Responsibilities
Support the marketing directors’ initiatives with the planning, developing, and executing marketing campaigns and events.
Assist with emails, digital, social media, and content marketing campaigns.
Assist with maintaining and developing databases and mailing lists.
Maintain a directory and inventory of marketing, sales, and office support materials including copies, posts, and scheduling.
Take notes, type up documents, populate spreadsheets, and input data.
Schedule and arrange meetings and travel itineraries.
Provide administrative support to coordinate and organize market research.
Qualifications
Excellent organizational and time management skills, able to handle many diverse projects and tasks.
Excellent verbal, written, communication, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing.
A people person and team player, with a knack for diplomatically following up on project priorities and assigned team tasks.
Proficiency in Adobe Suite: InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Needs reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Other various tasks as assigned.
Education, And Experience
BSC/BA in marketing, business administration, or relevant field is preferred.
Physical Requirements
Frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms. May on occasion be required to exert physical effort involving lifting/moving objects that may weigh 25 pounds, stooping, reaching, carrying, and pushing. Good hearing and vision required.
