Overview Media Prep Technician role at TKO, part of WWE’s media organization. This position supports ingest, metadata entry, and quality control across media assets to ensure timely and accurate preparation for broadcast and archival workflows.
Responsibilities Digitize content onto our Avid Interplay and EVS media servers
Enter corresponding metadata into Dixon database
Monitor & coordinate up to 20 ingests simultaneously (including inbound feeds) and perform quality control
Transcode various unpredictable files of different formats, frame rates, codecs, resolutions, etc to our media servers
QC Lo-Res proxy video
Apply naming conventions to create filename ID’s
Accountable for sending ingests into digital archive
Populate and maintain multiple Excel spreadsheets
Coordinate with Engineering department and help troubleshoot technical issues
Communicate ingest statuses with various departments, including Production and Transmission
Report to Manager, Central Ingest
Job Requirements Must have at least 1 year of Media Ingest experience
Must be detail oriented
Ability to multitask and balance workload
Ability to work under pressure in a sometimes hectic environment
Media management skills along with a good technical vocabulary a plus
Media Library experience a plus
Knowledge of the many different video codecs, frame rates, resolutions etc, is key
Ability to work a flexible schedule in a 24/7 environment
Must have outstanding communication skills verbally and written
Must be proficient in responding to and constructing emails in addition to proof reading
Must be proficient in Windows and Apple operating systems
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Drive applications
Knowledge of Professional Bull Riding (PBR) a plus
