Join to apply for the EHS Coordinator PR Northern Region role at Consertus We are seeking a proactive, detail-driven Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Coordinator to lead compliance efforts across our organization. This critical role blends strategic oversight with hands-on implementation, ensuring our operations meet regulatory standards and reflect our commitment to health, safety, and environmental stewardship. Candidate will work in the Fajardo area and should be living in Puerto Rico at moment of application. Key Responsibilities Design and implement EHS programs, policies, and procedures that meet federal, state, and local regulations Conduct facility audits and inspections to identify hazards and promote continuous improvement Collaborate with managers and supervisors to integrate EHS practices into daily operations Deliver training on safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and best practices Investigate incidents and near misses; analyze root causes and develop corrective actions Maintain thorough documentation including permits, incident reports, and training records Represent the organization in interactions with regulatory agencies and industry partners Monitor evolving regulations and technologies to support strategic EHS enhancements Participate in emergency response planning and contribute to EHS committee efforts Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or related field 3–5 years of EHS experience, preferably in the construction or industrial sectors In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance across federal, state, and local levels Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to influence at all organizational levels Proven track record developing and executing EHS programs Skilled in conducting risk assessments, investigations, and audits Proficient in Microsoft Office and EHS management software Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in dynamic environments What We Offer Competitive salary Comprehensive healthcare coverage Retirement savings plan Generous paid time off and holidays Professional development and career growth opportunities Inclusive, supportive workplace culture To apply, please submit your resume and cover letter.
