Job purpose Manage and foster positive relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, regulators, and other key stakeholders, to support business growth, compliance, and sustainability Key Responsibilities Develop and implement strategies to build and maintain healthy relationships with government agencies, regulators, and other key stakeholders. Interpret and communicate government policies, laws, and regulations that affect the organization’s business and operations, especially the agribusiness and production sector in general Advocate for the company’s interests by engaging constructively with government officials and industry associations Support the business in obtaining necessary permits, licenses, and approvals in a timely manner. Represent the company at meetings, forums, and events involving government and other external stakeholders. Proactively identify and manage risks related to regulatory compliance and government relations. Prepare reports, briefs, and position papers on regulatory developments and stakeholder engagements. Identify and mitigate regulatory risks that could impact business operations. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Agriculture, Animal Science, Business Administration, Law, or related field 5 years’ experience insimilar or related roles, preferably within agribusiness, manufacturing, or livestock sectors. Strong network within relevant stakeholders Demosntrate maturity and ability to constructively engage with stakeholders Familiarity with the aribusiness sector policies, standards, and regulations affecting the poultry and animal feed industry.
