They will pitch and turn short- and long-term investigations and follow-ups, often managing multiple ongoing stories simultaneously.* Gather information about events through research, interviews, or experience* Pitch stories that are relevant and impactful to the local community* Work closely with news and digital managers to ensure journalistic and legal standards are met* Actively engage across all digital and social media platforms to build brand recognition and enhance storytelling* Performs special projects and other duties as assigned**Requirements & Skills:*** Proven track record of developing and sustaining sources* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written* Dynamic on-air presence with conversational, engaging delivery and the ability to ad lib* Skilled in data analysis, public information requests, backgrounding, interviewing, and research* Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously* Valid driver’s license with a good driving record* Flexibility to work any shift #J-18808-Ljbffr
