Overview SoftTech Solutions, LLC., a wholly owned subsidiary of Synergy ECP, is a custom software development firm that has specialized in serving Department of Defense customers for more than 15 years. Our highly skilled staff of Software Engineers provide expertise that strengthens and advances our clients projects, ensuring the delivery of solid, successful results. We are looking for a Web Developer Level 1 with experience with:
User Experience (UX) Design
Adobe Illustrator
Knowledge of analyst's workflows and use cases
Ability to transform user requests into clean, multi-faceted solutions that will support a broad range of users with varying workflows
Provides mock-ups in Illustrator of new features, receives feedback from the analysts and developer community, and updates mock-ups accordingly
Keeps 508 compliance in mind when providing solutions
Designs overall look and feel for the ICON web-app
Familiarity with Knowledge Management and Curation (KMC) tool suite
CLEARANCE REQUIRED: TS/SCI w/ Polygraph

Responsibilities and Qualifications The role focuses on applying UX principles, creating Illustrator mock-ups, and contributing to a compliant, user-centered web application design. Candidates should be able to translate user requests into viable solutions and collaborate with analysts and developers to iterate on features.
Compensation and Benefits Compensation Spotlight: For this role, our typical salary range starts at $100,000 and stretches up to $150,000.
Health & Retirement: Company health plans (medical, dental, vision) with premium coverage paid by SoftTech up to $2,000/month; bonus arrangements if monthly premium is less than $1,000/month; alternative bonus if not using health plans.
401(k): Company contribution up to 10% of earnings, with 4% matched dollar-for-dollar and an additional 6% contribution regardless of employee contribution; immediately vested.
Education: Professional Development funds of $5,250 for approved tuition and related expenses; unused balances paid as a bonus at the start of the following year.
Work/Life Balance: Three compensation packages with 25, 35, or 45 days of paid time off annually; carryover up to 15 days; leave without pay available.
Additional Paid Time Off: Jury Duty (16 hours), Maternity/Paternity Leave (16 hours), Bereavement (24 hours).
Employee Appreciation Days: Two paid days per year; unused time paid out at year end.
