We aim to revolutionize how commercial drivers access insurance, streamlining processes, delivering value, and building long-term relationships. As we grow, we are building a sales team to support the trucking industry with insurance solutions.
What’s the job?
We’re hiring a goal-driven and customer-focused Commercial Lines Producer to join our sales team at TPI. You will work directly with truckers to understand their needs and provide tailored insurance solutions. Your responsibilities include managing leads, developing customer relationships, and helping scale our sales operations.
Manage inbound and outbound leads seeking commercial insurance
Quote prospects, follow up, and move opportunities through the sales funnel
Present coverage options and industry insights clearly and persuasively
Collaborate with the VP of Sales and training team to meet goals
Share best practices and contribute to a strong sales culture
Stay informed on industry trends and coverage changes
Ideal candidates are growth-oriented, communicative, receptive to feedback, and positive.
Work location
Based in our headquarters in Charleston, with in-office work during onboarding and training, transitioning to a hybrid schedule after meeting KPIs.
Earnings potential
Starting salary of $40,000 with commissions after nesting period
First-year earnings typically range from $60,000 to $125,000+
Nesting Period & Growth
60-day nesting period to learn and build confidence, followed by a review to assess fit and progress.
Requirements
Sales or customer support experience (insurance or transportation preferred)
Strong communication skills
Comfort with CRM and sales tools
Self-motivated and goal-oriented
Positive and coachable attitude
Active Property & Casualty License or willingness to obtain one
