As an Interior Designer at FBC, you will work with Senior Designers to create designs, guide material selections, note plans, delight our clients, and collaborate with on-site superintendents to execute the construction of the design. Responsibilities Measure and create “as-built” onsite, note plans and elevations, and work with our estimator to obtain necessary quotes for plans. Lead the final material and fixture selections process with the client. Attend production walks with the Supervisor and Project Manager for the project. Attend the pre-construction meeting onsite with the trades and the homeowner. Create and disseminate the final laminate drawings for the job start. Complete the mid-project review with the Supervisor and Project Manager. Attend project walks such as post demo, framing, finishing, and closing walk. Requirements 1+ year of sales experience preferred. A degree or certificate in architecture, space planning and/or interior design. Proficiency in a design program such as Chief Architect, 20/20, or AutoCAD. Working knowledge of Chief Architect prior to start date. Desire to learn and execute the FBC Remodel design/sales process. Experience in a highly collaborative team environment with fixed deadlines. Must have a driver’s license and access to your own vehicle. Physical ability to perform on-site measures Must be able to lift 50 lbs Salary Salary Range: 50,000-65,000; Commissions: 0.5% of contract price. Projects typically range from 100,000–300,000.
