Behance is hiring: Creative Web Designer, UX/UI (Freelance) in New York

We are looking for a talented Web Designer to create amazing and fresh user experiences. You should have an eye for clean and artful web/mobile design and superior user interface design skills.

Required knowledge and skills:

• Experience in creating websites, landing pages
• Ability to create Mood boards and Wireframes
• Proficient in Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator
• Knowledge of the principles of adaptive layout of websites
• Understanding of current trends and design principles of Web and mobile applications; (logic, grids, information hierarchy, composition, typography)
• Ability to independently make design decisions, present and argue your ideas
• Ability to communicate and work in a team
• Ability to work responsibly and productively
• English at the level of Intermediate

Functional responsibilities:

• Development of UX / UI for product and service websites, landing pages
• Improvement, revision, redesign of existing site pages
• Interaction with a marketer, developers and designers of a different profile (3D, motion)
• Development of the design of promotional materials - a banner for the site, advertising companies, and social networks
• Analysis of the product, target audience and search for the best design solution
• Development of graphic elements (icons, pictograms, etc.)

Will be an advantage:

• Ability to work with AI tools (Adobe Firefly, Midjourney)
• Experience as a graphic designer
• Ability to work with color correction and photo retouching, collaging
• Experience with motion design, animation
• Experience with desktop/web and mobile application design
