Job Description
The Social Media and Promotions Coordinator is responsible for ALL promotional aspects necessary to inform the campus community of the services and events the CASE Office is sponsoring. This includes working with the Centers Marketing Team, public relations, advertising, promoting special events, managing the CASE Office social media content, and writing all materials needed to accomplish these tasks. Social Media may include the use of Facebook, Instagram, X, SPIN, Snapchat, SMOD, Web Calendar, and other applications. The Social Media and Promotions Coordinator will work in conjunction with the CASE Productions staff to ensure a yearlong series of programs and promotional events.
This position reports to the Club Sports & Student Organizations Program Specialist.

The University Centers Student Employment Program Wage Classification Scale classifies this position as
Division II, Range I .
Required Qualifications
Applicants must be available to work between 8-12 hours per week during the semester and attend staff meetings and events as necessary, including morning, evening, and weekend shifts. Some work during breaks may be necessary. The Social Media and Promotions Coordinator is also expected to attend at least 20% of all CASE Events each semester to collect photos and other marketing materials.
Students applying for this position must pass a Criminal Background Check initiated by the University Centers.
Preferred Qualifications
It is encouraged for the applicant to have prior experience in social media, programming, public relations, and/or advertising.
Preference will be given to qualified candidates with at least two semesters remaining at UWSP.
Education
The Event Producer must be at least a part-time student (enrolled in a minimum of 6 undergraduate or 5 graduate credits) and be in good academic standing (cumulative and semester GPAs of 2.0 or higher) at the time of hiring and throughout employment.
