About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced and strategic Director, Social and Influencer Marketing to lead and elevate our brand storytelling across all channels. In this highly visible leadership role, you will oversee the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, consumer engagement, and cultural relevance.

As a key member of the marketing leadership team, you will be responsible for shaping our brand narrative through a holistic lens—bringing together PR strategy, social media innovation, and influencer partnerships to deliver cohesive, high-impact campaigns. You’ll lead cross-functional initiatives, manage a high-performing team, and collaborate closely with brand, affiliate, influencer, paid media, and executive stakeholders.

This role requires a visionary marketing leader who not only understands the full funnel of brand marketing and communications, but also thrives in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment.

What You'll Do

Strategy

  • Drive brand awareness and equity by increasing brand visibility and share of voice within the competitive beauty landscape.
  • Accelerate earned media value through strategic social media planning and influencer partnerships that amplify brand reach and engagement.
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies across online and offline channels to ensure a consistent, omnichannel brand experience.

Influencer & Talent Relations

  • Identify and build strategic partnerships with fashion influencers to ensure campaign execution aligns with business goals and delivers measurable impact.
  • Regularly track key performance indicators—including reach, engagement, and sales conversion rates—to continuously refine and optimize influencer strategies.
  • Ideate, plan and execute regional events and experiential activations for influencers, KOLs, and press to create memorable brand moments. All events are strategically designed to drive EMV while remaining fully aligned with the brand’s overall aesthetic, voice, and storytelling.

Social Media

  • Develop a clear and actionable social media strategy aligned with the brand’s positioning and overall marketing objectives.
  • Lead and guide the creative team to produce high-quality social content that reflects brand voice and resonates with target audiences—overseeing visuals, copy, timing, and format.
  • Plan content calendars in advance based on campaign timelines, ensuring alignment with cultural moments, seasonal trends, and platform-specific opportunities.
  • Integrate social media strategy with other key marketing channels—including PR, influencer marketing, offline events, and e-commerce to create a cohesive and impactful communication ecosystem.

Leadership

  • Mentor and manage a growing marketing team by providing ongoing feedback, mentorship, and support for professional development.
  • Foster a high-performance, solution-oriented team culture that encourages cross-functional collaboration and creative thinking.
  • Provide strategic marketing insights, stay ahead of industry trends, and drive the development and implementation of new marketing capabilities.

Administrative

  • Track project scopes, fees, and budgets with senior leadership.
  • Ensure internal systems are up-to-date with campaign and account information.
  • Support business operations and financial tracking as it relates to social and influencer marketing scopes.

Who You Are

  1. Over 5 years of experience in social and influencer marketing, preferably with a background in the apparel industry and established relationships with top-tier influencers, with a proven track record of successful multi-channel campaigns and online or offline marketing events.
  2. Strategic expertise in social media and influencer marketing, including campaign execution, performance measurement, and optimization.
  3. Deep understanding of major social platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, as well as the evolving creator ecosystem, with a strong passion for emerging social trends.
  4. Creative thinker with a strong strategic mindset and data-driven analytical skills.
  5. Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  6. Experienced in team leadership and management, capable of mentoring staff and successfully leading cross-functional teams.
  7. Skilled in project management, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables precisely.
  8. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
